In 1980 SLBA was formed. It consisted of the White Oaks, Cleardale and Wesminster amalgamating into one association. Founding president was Stan Lataweic.
In 1980 the price of gasoline was about 26 cents per litre.
SLBA President in 1986 was Mary Hohmann.
In 1986 someone named Oprah debuted a new talk show.
South London was the host team for the 1987 National Tournament.
Teams from all across Canada came to London.
The Simpsons and Seinfeld had their TV debuts in 1990, let the catchphrases begin.
In 1990 the price of gasoline was about 55 cents per litre.
An est. 150 million watch as the not guilty verdict is read in the O.J. Simpson trial.
On August 13, 1995 baseball great Mickey Mantle passes away.
SLBA President in 2000 was Rob Collier.

We are looking forward to the upcoming season as we return to playing at
ball diamonds in the South London region.
