Important Boys Competitive Program Notes:

- Boundaries are for BOYS competitive ONLY
- No boundaries apply for GIRLS competitive
- No boundaries apply for Senior Mens programs

South London Baseball operates within the South end of the City of London. As such, our governing body dictates that our competitive programs must only accept players from our home teritory, as outlined above. This means that players residing within these boundaries MUST register with South London Baseball if they want to play competitively. The London District Baseball Association continues to impliment a no release policy at this time. As such, we cannot release competitive players to other associations. Competitive registrants home addresses and checked to ensure compliance with this policy.

These boundaries DO NOT APPLY TO Any Girls Competitive, or Senior men Players and we are happy to accept players from anywhere in the city for those programs.

Competitive Boys are subject to boundaries!

*NOTE: Players wanting to play competitive who reside within South London boundaries but choose to register with another association will be subject to disciplinary action by South London Baseball, London and District Baseball and Ontario Baseball. These actions can lead to league wide suspension and your removal from competitive play in London. Please ensure you register with your proper association for competitive.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR Boys COMPETITIVE REGISTRANTS

At this point in time city wide enrollment for competitive baseball programs is at an all time low. As a result, the governing body for competitive baseball in London and the surrounding area has enabled the merging of the South London Baseball Competitive program and the Southwest London Baseball Association Competitive program. The two association will, until further notice, merge teams to create the "London Scorpions" competitive program. The policy, designed and enforced by the London and District Baseball Association, has additionally applied the following rules to this merger of competitive teams.

1 - ALL players wishing to play competitive baseball MUST register with their home associations regardless of their status on a London Scorpions team. If a player does not register with their home association, they will not be eligable to play for the Scorpions in that playing year and will be subject to disciplinary action.

2 - A player being sent from their home association to play with the Scorpions is doing so on the basis of a "playing pass" NOT a "release". The player MUST register with their home association the following season to remain eligable for competitive baseball.

3 - Should an association be able to field an team of sufficient quality on their own, they are permitted to do so and do not need to send their players to the Scorpions.

At this time the South London Baseball Association Executive is doing everything in our power to maintain quality programs within the South London Community. As such a zero tolerance policy will be in place for the 2012 season with regards to players registering in their home associations. If you want to play competitive baseball and reside in South London's boundaries you MUST register with South London Baseball regardless of where you will actually end up playing baseball. NOTE: Every player who signs up for competitive baseball will have a team to tryout for!
